Carlo Ancelotti labelled Vinicius Junior 'the best in the world' after the Brazilian lit up the Bernabeu in Real Madrid's destruction of Girona.

"[The next best being] Bellingham, Rodrygo the third, Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos.”
Real Madrid have always possessed a collection of the finest players in the world and traditions are yet to die. Vinicius and Bellingham have been amongst the very best players in the past year and have been key to catalysing the Madrid title charge. Having thrashed Girona, Madrid are on the path to secure yet another league title.
If Ancelotti is correct and Madrid do possess the best players in the world, then winning the league and Champions League will go a long way to proving him right. Los Blancos travel to Germany to face RB Leipzig in the Round of 16 on Tuesday.
