That last-gasp victory lifted Al-Nassr to second in the division, four points behind defending champions Al-Hilal — who have won all seven of their matches this season. Ronaldo's team cannot afford to drop points amid this relentless run of form from their rivals.
Following their topsy-turvy win over Al-Shabab, Ronaldo's Al-Nassr side return to AFC Champions League action next week, as they travel to Iranian team Esteghlal FC on Tuesday evening.
